4th round small grants programme has been allocated

Expanding Your Market Programme

The Contract has been awarded to Cookstown Enterprise Company to deliver East Tyrone Rural's Expanding Your Market Programme (This programme is designed to assist 27 small rural businessess to enter the export market.  This involves training, tailored support, the development of individual business plans, research, networking and business advice).

Micro-Business Development Programme

The contract to deliver this programme has been awarded to Cookstown and Dunganon Enterprise Centres.  This programme will analyse the financial systems needs of small rural businesses and offer appropriate training to address these needs.  On completion of training, participants can apply directly to ETR for capital grant-aid at 50% of eligible costs up to a maximium grant-aid of £490 towards the purchase of either a computer or appropriate software.   

Rural Markets Programme

This programme is now complete.  Producers were encouraged to co-operate in direct selling, developing a marketing strategy and utilising and developing market stalls.)
