Micro-Business Development Programme

320 businesses have been enrolled on this programme. 237 businesses have now completed training and mentoring is well underway. There are a limited number of places available on this programme which provides an analysis of business system needs and delivery of 1 to 1 mentoring in the workplace. Capital grants are available at 50% up to maximum funding of £490 towards purchase of either computer or software.

Expanding Your Market

27 small rural businesses have now enrolled on this programme The programme is designed to assist these businesses enter the export market and should be completed by end December 2006.   more »

Small Grants Programme

ETR have provided capital grant assistance at 50% of eligible costs up to a maximum of £20,000 grant-aid to a total of 65 projects under this programme. This programme has gone a long way in assisting ETR to meet our targets in relation to job creation. As a result of this programme 116 new jobs have been created and 161 sustained within the target area.   more »

Micro-Business Development Programme

Cookstown Enterprise Centre and Dungannon Enterprise Centre are working with Micro-Businesses in the area providing specific training and mentoring. To date 320 businesses have enrolled and 237 businesses have completed training. Participation on this programme gives local businesses the opportunity to access capital grants at 50% up to £490 for the purchase of either a computer or software.   more »

Transnational Programme

A Honey Processing and Marketing Programme has been completed. Cookstown Western Shores Area Network worked with the Mid-Ulster Beekeepers Association to address training needs in marketing and processing and undertake best practice visits including to ROI and Macedonia.   more »

East Tyrone Rural Limited will provide capital grant aid for participants on Part A of this programme to purchase either computer or appropriate software at 50% of eligible costs up to a maximium of £490 grant-aid.   more »
