Welcome to East Tyrone Rural Ltd
Who are we?
East Tyrone Rural Ltd (ETR) is a limited company set up to administer the Leader+ Programme throughout the Cookstown and Dungannon Districts. ETR was allocated a budget of £1,658,000 and to date has committed the entire budget to eligible projects in the area.
What is Leader+?
Leader+ is a European Programme which aims to support Rural Development with a particular emphasis on micro enterprise i.e. those employing 10 people or less. The programme is particularly interested in targeting women, young people, farmers and farm families and the long term unemployed.

What will we fund and when?
ETR have developed a business plan up to the end of 2006. This business plan is based on needs identified as a result of extensive public consultation. We have developed several successful programmes which have now closed, details of these are available on this website.
We are curently waiting on additional funds which will be made available to ETR later this year. Detail of this funding will be provided in the forthcoming months.
